Finnish terrain, player-built cities
Coasts, lakes, forests and elevation come from real geographic data. Horizontally, one block represents roughly one metre.
Cities start at the station
The transit network connects 23 cities. Choose your starting city during onboarding. Stations and their services are provided. Players build the homes, streets and everything around them.

Wildlife follows its habitat
Moose, reindeer, forest birds and seals live in suitable areas. There are 27 custom wildlife species. Your sightings are recorded in the wildlife journal, opened with /fauna.
Fish species depend on the region and whether you are fishing in a lake, river or sea. /fish shows your collection. /fish records <species-id> shows records; use Tab completion to find the species ID.
Caves and ores
New terrain includes Minecraft caves, underground water and occasional deep rifts. Ore distribution depends on depth below the local rock surface. The same Y coordinate does not represent the same ore layer everywhere.
The September cave update applies to newly generated terrain. Existing areas are not rewritten by this update.
Caches and old structures
Look for sauna cabins, lean-tos and abandoned houses. Caches and loose finds can contain scrolls, supplies and the starting points for quests.
Shorter nights
Night passes at twice the usual speed in the Finland world, lasting about five minutes. Daytime runs at normal speed.
